You have got to be effing kidding me!!!! Seriously? I'm sorry and I know there are many women out there who likes that twangy, "alright, alright" shit, but really? The weight loss, the effing "transformative" depiction???
Here's my take on that damn hoopla over Mr. Twangy Alright, Alright shit. Matthew McConaughey is not the only actor who has lost weight for a role. He is not the only actor to get in a transformative physical form to play a role. Losing weight is not effing acting!!! Christian Bale did that in The Machinist and did the opposite for American Hustle. And both times, he acted very, very well. A true Thespian doesn't need to have some tragic illness or debilitating handicap for true acting to commence or to transport the audience in the storyline. I swear if McConaughey effing win that award, they better give one to Christian Bale for The Machinist, American Hustle, Out Of The Furnace, and pretty much all of his other movies. *end of rant*
